The Blossom Dreams Gown

The Blossom Dreams was first made as a custom design for Jessica.  An extremely feminine gown it is made in an enchanting pale gold/mauve iridescent dupioni silk. The gown is period-inspired and represents a mixture of styles, with a slight contemporary twist. The Victorian shaped corset has extensive boning in all the right places and gives a shapely curvy line to the torso. The neckline is typical for the 18th century corsets and is trimmed with organza ruffles and lace. The romantic off-the shoulder detachable sleeves have double layer of organza ruffles and a lace trim. The skirt is full, with medium length detachable train which can be bustled.

The design on the corset is asymmetrical. A gentle vine in muted green colors weaves its way towards the right shoulder. There are romantic flowers in hand-painted silk and organza with crystal and pearl  beading. Dimensional organza butterflies in a contrasting deep color appear to have landed on the vine and between the flowers. 

The detachable train is a spectacular and gives the back of the gown a dramatic appeal.  Gathers form a butterfly-like shape to its upper part  and a lace bow provides and antique feel to it. The lower part of the train drapes gently on the ground and is embellished with flowers, leaves and butterflies.

Color suggestions:  This gown will look great in its original color.  Other suitable colors are : white, ivory, off-white, creme, pale gold, champagne, pale pink, pale lavender, pale peach. It could even be made and would look good in pale blue and pale green
